Vacheron Constantin has added a 34.5mm case size to its Overseas Self-Winding family, a version built less for thinness and more for a compact, easy-wearing fit. It arrives in two forms: a steel model (ref. 4600V/200A-B980) and an 18K pink gold model (ref. 4600V/200R-B979), both keeping the collection’s familiar hexagonal Maltese Cross-motif bezel and lacquered sunburst-satin dial finish.
The steel version wears a deep red, almost burgundy dial, while the pink gold edition shifts toward a warmer rose-gold tone, both fitted with 18K applied hour markers and hands treated in blue Super-LumiNova. Each self-winding piece ships with three interchangeable straps, a metal bracelet, a rubber option, and an alligator leather, so owners can switch looks without extra purchases. Pricing lands at approximately £23,200 / €26,800 for steel and around €60,000 for the pink gold reference.
It’s a sensible move for a collection descended from the 222 of 1977: rather than chasing thinness, Vacheron is offering scale options, giving smaller-wristed collectors and those who prefer a subtler sports watch a proper way into the Overseas line.
