Casio’s CMK-100: A titanium automatic line, not a one off
A five-reference mechanical launch gives Casio collectors something more than another quartz variant to parse.

Casio has announced the CMK-100, a mechanical watch with a titanium case, 10 bar water resistance and a Made in Japan automatic movement.
The October 29 release marks a shift: a mechanical outside Edifice from Casio, a brand whose collector identity is tied to quartz and G-SHOCK. Casio calls it “a lightweight mechanical timepiece with excellent readability” and confirms an automatic movement, though the caliber remains unnamed.
The launch spans five references: CMK-100TD-1A, CMK-100TC-1A, CMK-100TCC-8A, CMK-100TL-1A and CMK-100TCL-5A. Casio’s comparison table separates them by dial colour and band material, with titanium, nylon and leather options listed across the range.
Five references, not one, signal Casio is testing the waters for a mechanical line, not just a one off.
