Casio announced the GMC-2500 and GAC-2500 on October 22, 2026, two analog G-SHOCKs that Casio says bring the 1983 DW-5000C’s functional design language into a hands and dial format.
The key feature is Multi-Mission Date, a three-cell window at 3 o’clock showing the date, stopwatch minutes, or other readouts depending on the active mode.
Casio frames the pair as more than surface nostalgia. In the company’s words, “The new GMC-2500 and GAC-2500 bring the functional beauty of the first-ever G-SHOCK to an analog design.”
The line arrives in nine variants. A small seconds hand at 9 o’clock can be stopped when it is not needed to save battery, then restarted at any time. G-Central reports US prices of $145 for the GAC-2500, $280 to $300 for the GMC-2500 and $350 for the GMC-2500D, with an estimated US release date of November 6.
