The Dakar winner gets the watch before his round-the-world ride: no specs, no release date.

Two-time Dakar Rally winner Sam Sunderland is preparing to circle the globe by motorcycle, covering roughly 1,050 miles a day, per Christopher Ward’s video.

In Greenwich, a Christopher Ward rep hands him an unreleased white-dial C63 Sealander Extreme GMT, calling it the watch built for the challenge.

The rep notes rubber shielding the movement inside the case, calling it “the most anti-shock,” a spoken claim rather than a tested one.

The strap steals the show: a Velcro tab lets Sunderland fasten it one-handed, and he calls it lightweight.
