IWC released “Gérald Genta’s Ingenieur: 50th Anniversary Reworked, Refined, Rethought” on 20 September 2026. The film calls the watches “Gérald Genta’s vision, perfected.”

The narration presents two anniversary watches, 40mm and 35mm, each capped at 1,150 pieces, fifty years on from Genta’s 1976 Ingenieur SL. It describes a brushed silver-plated dial drawn from a rare 1970s SL variant, rhodium-plated hands, Super-LumiNova markers, and a logo where the lightning bolt gives way to “50.”

IWC does not list a reference, price, or release date.
