Raymond Weil Revives 1977 Toccata Design for Women's Heritage Collection
A nine-piece women's collection from Geneva's Raymond Weil revives a 1977 design, without showing its work.

Raymond Weil has added a Heritage version to its Toccata women’s line, announced in a 4 September 2026 blog post titled The Toccata Heritage Story Continues. The release coincides with the brand’s 50th-anniversary celebrations and claims to revive one of its most recognizable 1977 designs.
The 1977 date carries the weight of the story. Raymond Weil was founded in 1976, so a 1977 design sits almost at the company’s origin, which makes it a neat anchor for an anniversary year. But on the two pages reviewed, it’s an assertion, not proof: no archival images, no period reference numbers, nothing for collectors to verify. Raymond Weil says only that “the original proportions have been faithfully preserved.”
The collection includes nine references. Options include a calfskin strap with a lizard effect or an integrated metal bracelet; some versions feature a diamond-set bezel. One of those is already listed on Raymond Weil’s site: a 28 mm steel case, silver dial, Roman numerals, polished blue obelisk hands under anti-reflective sapphire, and 48 lab-grown brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.408 carats. Rose gold PVD and yellow gold PVD cases are offered as well.
The gaps are worth naming. Raymond Weil does not disclose a caliber, supplier or battery life, describing the movement only as Swiss Made quartz. It does not disclose water resistance, bracelet material, lug width or price on either page sampled.
For a watch sold on its archive, that is a great deal left unsaid.
| Reference | Not disclosed on the brand blog post or the sampled raymond-weil.com product page. (A reference-style URL slug, "toccata-ladies-heritage-diamond-stainless-steel-silver-dial-quartz-watch-28-mm", exists on the brand's own site, but no formal reference number is stated on either page reviewed.) |
| Price | Not disclosed on the raymond-weil.com blog post or on the sampled raymond-weil.com product page (the product-page fetch returned "Couldn't load pickup availability" and no price figure). A price range in euros appears in third-party media (WatchTime), but per sourcing rules this is not used as it is not brand-primary and is excluded from this sheet as unverified against the maker's own page. |
| Released | 2026-09-04, as dated on the raymond-weil.com blog post. |
